My Favourite Trail
My Favourite Trail
My niece and her husband were also in Newfoundland and they swung by for a visit, yesterday! It was so great to see them and to take them to some of my favourite places. Of course, we had to have coffee and a chat with Jenn at Galliott Studios & Café, and lunch at the Old Loft Restaurant. We also visited Molly and Austin at Molly Made Fibre Art Studio.
After all of that, we headed to Trout River so I could take them on the Eastern Point Trail. I wrote a post about this trail last year and it took my breath away again. I don't need to say too much about it. The photographs speak for themselves. This is a place where there is a kind of quiet, peace, and beauty that helps a person to forge a true connection with the land and sea.
Tuckamore, Tunnels and Hideaways
There is a lot of tuckamore growing on Eastern Point Trail. This and the other vegetation on the trail reveals many little tunnels and passageways. It gives the feeling of entering into a magical world!
Thanks, Jenn and Tyler, for sharing this beautiful day with me!
