Underwater Footage, Finally!

Today, I got the footage I shot with AHOI's GoPro while I was snorkelling the eelgrass beds at Lomond in Bonne Bay, Gros Morne National Park. As predicted, the footage was generally awful, mostly because I couldn't see without my glasses so I couldn't figure out when the camera was on. But with the magic of iMovie and some ambient music, I managed to stitch together a bit of footage that isn't half bad. It is easy to see why this ecosystem is such important habitat. Mr. Lobster, who appears in the middle of the video, agrees!

You can watch the video here.

I was also able to pull some stills from the camera.

And now (drumroll, please) a pic I took with my own underwater camera:

Sigh. I think it might be worth investing in a GoPro.
