A Storied Palette
It isn't just the non-human landscape here that is beautiful. There is a palette that marks human interaction with this place. Bright colours adorn buildings on the main streets of small towns and villages. Weathered buildings dot the shorelines, the paint scoured by the sea air. Remnants of the past tell stories here.
On each trip I have made out east I have always appreciated, marvelled and wondered about the bright colours on so many of the buildings. Seeing those bright colours definitely brightens any day, and adds character to an already beautiful natural setting! Thanks for letting us ‘travel’ with you! (H.S.)
